About the role

As the IT Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support through the design, implementation, and administration of Luxfer’s computer network systems, keeping the company at the forefront of ICT.

You will be responsible for installing and configuring devices, diagnosing, and troubleshooting problems, controlling access, and keeping the network running smoothly and efficiently with little or no downtime.

Based at our manufacturing site in Colwick, Nottingham, you’ll be employed on a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week.

What will I need to be considered for this opportunity?
  • Proven experience within a similar IT role, with experience of diagnosing and repairing hardware faults, software installation and troubleshooting
  • Experience of working in computer networks and systems maintenance
  • Experience of server management – Windows Server OS
  • Good level of Numeracy or Literacy skills
  • Have a good understanding of IT principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts to a varied audience.
Although not essential, a degree qualification within an ICT subject would be highly advantageous.

For how long does the organisation keep data?

Your rights
